Ellie's Birthday

Ellie turned FIVE on the 28th. I can't believe it! The main thing she wanted to do for her b-day was go sledding so we braved the freezing cold and went for it.

We lasted about 15 min but Ellie was happy!

I hope everyone has had as much fun this holiday season as we have! It really has been a blur of activities but we feel so blessed to have so many fun things to do and so much wonderful family and friends to celebrate with! I have many more pictures and videos to go through so check back for more cuteness coming soon! :)

Barbie Ballerina Princess Party

Ellie had a great time celebrating 4 1/2 with her family!

Happy 1/2 Birthday Ellie!

Ellie celebrated her 4 1/2 birthday with a "fancy" princess tea party with her friends at the LS Ayres Tea Room on the canal. She loved it! The server brought each of the little girls their very own silver tea pots (filled with lemonade) to pour, themselves, into their own china cups. Ellie must have had at least 8 cups of lemonade! All the girls politely ordered their own food and continued (for the most part) to act like little ladies throughout lunch.
After lunch, we all went for a walk along the canal and saw a waterfall and the amphitheatre. It was a great day!

The Girls' Best Friend (turned five today!)

Happy Birthday Ellie!

Ellie turned four on December 28th. It is really hard to believe! She is very happy to have reached this milestone. She is still singing several times a day "I am sooo happy that I'm four...!" The morning after her birthday, Eric found her asleep on the floor in the loft instead of her room. When he asked her what she was doing out there, she told him "Because four-year-olds can sleep where-ever they feel like it..." Being four is pretty big stuff to her!

She made her own chocolate raspberry cake (with the help of Daddy and Nana).




We then did a little treasure hunt for her. She searched for several little princess figurines throughout the house which then led her to her new...
